The fleet sailing the 17th edition of the Pac Cup takes off from San Francisco on July 16 and gets their leis ready for the finish line in Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii.

Eight teams will compete at the third regatta of the unaugural 52 Super Series. The Royal Cup at Palma, Mallorca is a four-day event that began today and will be hotly contested.

Although they’ve been hovering under the radar of sailing fans, Multi One Design 70 trimarans could shine in the spotlight if given the chance. With the right media, better scheduling, and improved promotion, these incredibly fast boats could really take flight.

The Annapolis Leukemia Cup Regatta was held on June 1-2 at the Annapolis Yacht Club and raised over $180,000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

With a little more than one year to the Atlanta Olympics, the results of the largest Olympic classes event in the U.S. made it clear that the pressure was on the U.S. team to pick up the pace. From our May 1995 issue.
