Skipper Seve Jarvin, with crew Sam Newton and Robert Bell, won the first race of the Australian 18-foot Skiff Championship, a six-races-in-six-weeks series taking place in Sydney, Australia.Jarvin’s Gotta Love It 7 team dominated Sunday’s race, finishing more than three minutes ahead of second place Ssangyong Yandoo, skippered by John Winning. Out of the 24 boats that started the race in fluky conditions on Sydney Harbor, only 13 finished.
