ESPN To Air Cup Documentary

ESPN will air a documentary on the history of the America’s Cup on Friday, April 13 at 7:00 p.m. EST. This special features interviews with many of the top names in sailing including Alinghi owner Ernesto Bertarelli, BMW Oracle Racing chairman Larry Ellison, past America’s Cup champions Ted Turner, Dennis Conner, Russell Coutts, Bill Koch, Halsey Herreshoff, Gary Jobson, Tom Whidden, and David Elwell, designer Olin Stephens, journalists John Rousmaniere and Peter Montgomery, and painter John Mecray.The program is narrated by Walter Cronkite, and includes newly discovered footage and photographss.
