Abby Freeman
Hailing from the heartland, Abby grew up sailing everything from Beneteau cruisers to JY15s out of Vermilion, Ohio. Claiming the Thistle class as her own, she also races J/24s, Melges 24s and Lightnings– you’ll be hard-pressed to find a boat she won’t race and love. Back at Ohio University, Abby studies journalism and economics; she is just getting her feet wet with the variety of campus newspapers. She’s also the current team captain of their sailing team.
