Wild Oats XI has returned after a lengthy and extensive refit just in time to splash for the 2015 Rolex Sydney Hobart Race.

Round-the-world veteran Jean-Pierre Dick collaborated with team Gitana to build his IMOCA 60 ­StMichel-Virbac. He raced the boat in October, alongside older-generation 60s in a predominantly light-air overnight race, and was happy with the results, but said there was still much to learn about the foils.
