Volvo Ocean Race contender Team Alvimedica kicked off practices and the selection of its crew members. Those selected will join Mark Towill (25) and Charlie Enright (29) to form the youngest ever Volvo Ocean Race team aboard the brand new 65-foot, 12.5-ton one-design. A total of 16 crew candidates, including those from the United States, Turkey, Italy, New Zealand and England, with an average age of 27 are participating in the trials. The final crew selection is slated for July.
