The first races of the Louis Vuitton Cup have taken place and there were few surprises. Alinghi cruised to an easy win over a slow Le Defi Areva, as did OneWorld over Mascalzone Latino.
Prada made their race with Oracle/BMW Racing a tad more exciting, but the Louis Vuitton Cup defenders lost. A smooth Stars & Stripes beat Team GBR by 20 seconds, but had a hard time stretching their lead.
