Thierry Pepponet announced on Thursday that he will step down from his position as tactician and hand the job over to Tanguy Cariou. A former helmsman for the syndicate, Peponnet was replaced by Sebastien Col in July last year and now feels an "important" move was needed in the afterguard to counteract the team's average results in Louis Vuitton Act 13.The Areva Challenge afterguard for Round Robin 1 of the Louis Vuitton Cup, which starts on Monday, will consist of Sebastien Col at the helm, Tanguy Carriou as tactician, Frederic Guilmin as strategist, and Jean François Cuzon as navigator.
