Olympic Sailing: July 29, 2012

Racing for the Finns, Stars, and Women Match Racing kicked off the Olympic regatta in Weymouth and Portland for the 2012 London Games.

There was a good turnout at the paid spectator area on the Nothe Course. Ben Ainslie and the rest of the Finn class kicked off the Olympic regatta with a very entertaining race. Daniel Forster

Jonas Hoegh Christensen of Denmark had a stunning Day 1 to his Olympic regatta winning both Finn races and doing so with solid margins in each one.
