Victory Challenge has chosen to name its new boat, “Jarv,” which is Swedish for “wolverine.”Although the hull of SWE 96 already bears the image of a charging bull (Red Bull sponsors the team), the name, Jarv, falls in line with the names of its previous boats, Örn (eagle) and Orm (snake).Apparently, the wolverine imagery connotes the syndicate’s underdog spirit. “The jarv…is one of the least known predators which is remarkably strong for its size and often described as cunning,” wrote Press Officer Bert Willborg. “Despite its diminutive size, it can easily take out much bigger prey.”For more Victory Challenge news, click here.
