Jim and Kristy Clark’s newly launched Comanche takes a training run from Newport to Charleston.

Jim and Kristy Clark’s newly launched Comanche, a 100-foot carbon super-maxi, took to the sea to for a training run this week. The record-slayer, skippered by Ken Read, is preparing to take on Sydney-Hobart in December, with their sights set on tearing first place away from Robert Oatley’s Wild Oats as they bid for their eighth win since 2005. Here’s a video of their most recent training run from Newport, RI to Charleston, SC on October 24-26.
