Americans Defend the Cup at International Trapseat Champs

Sailing Jolly Roger 1, skipper John Ross-Duggan and crew Ben Carter won the International Trapseat Cup, an America’s Cup-style regatta for disabled sailors held in December in San Diego, California.The three-day event featured five American teams and four international teams competing in fleet racing and match racing formats aboard modified Hobie 16s. Canada’s Team ScotiaBank, with skipper Nigist Sewennt and crew Karen-Ann Xavier, finished second.For more information about the event, email [email protected].
