Annapolis NOOD Sailors,

We’re looking forward to having you and your crew join us at the Annapolis NOOD this year. The dates are April 29 – May 1, 2011 and once again our regatta headquarters will be located at the Annapolis Yacht Club. The NOOD staff is busy getting ready for you at our third stop of the Sperry Top-Sider NOOD season. Welcome to all of you!

REGISTRATION DETAILS:
A minimum of six boats is required for a class to remain eligible. Due to the number of classes anticipated at this event, entrants should be aware that there is a possibility that certain classes may be started together but still scored separately. A $50 late fee (in addition to the entry fee) will start on April 11, 2011 at 5 p.m. EST. This is an additional fee if you register or pay on or after this date past 5 p.m. EST. Please note this deadline when sending mailed or faxed entries. To receive a refund or to cancel your entry, call 401-845-4412 by April 25, 2011.

NOOD INFORMATION:
You and your crew are required to sign the enclosed waiver form in order to race in this event. Please bring the signed waiver form to on-site registration. Do not fax or mail the waiver prior to the event. Without a signed waiver form you will not be officially entered into the event. Sailing Instructions will be given out at Registration, which will be held at the Annapolis Yacht Club’s Junior Annex (entrance on the Eastport Side of the Spa Creek Bridge) on Thursday, April 28 from 5:00 – 7:30 pm.

PARTY INFORMATION:
Don’t be left out this year! Come and join us after racing for food and plenty of Mount Gay Rum and beer at the NOOD parties on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings. Friday and Saturday’s menu will feature a full meal and beverages with lighter fare during Sunday’s awards ceremony. Pre-purchased party tickets are available now online for $50 for each for you and your crew. On site the party tickets will be $55 each, so buy now and save. NOOD merchandise will be sold during the parties so don’t forget to stop by to get your exclusive 2011 NOOD gear for yourself, your crew and family.

ANNAPOLIS YACHT CLUB INFORMATION:
Parking: Parking on AYC property including the Clubhouse lot, Jr. Sailing Center Annex and the Sailing Center is only available to AYC members with valid, 2011 parking stickers.

Trailer launching: Boats requiring travel lift services may call Jabin’s Boatyard at 410-268-9667. Dry sailed boats that are in the AYC Sailing Center (J22s, J24s, J80s, Melges 24s, and Etchells), may be stored and launched on a space available basis.
