Community Boating Center in Providence, RI will host its “Renaissance Regatta” annual fundraiser to benefit inner-city sailing programs on July 18.

Sponsors are invited to provide a team of citizen or employee-sailors (no experience necessary) to sail in a series of small boat relays, slaloms, and team building games. The regatta event includes sailboat rides and is followed by a silent auction in support of the non-profit’s inner-city sailing programs.

WHAT: 2013 Renaissance Regatta
– Includes “FUN” small sailboat races with youths & adults and FREE sailboat rides hosted by CBC youth
– Also includes a post-regatta cocktail reception and silent auction

WHEN: Thursday, July 18, 2013
– Skippers’ meeting: 5:00 pm, first start: 6:00 pm. Sailboat rides from 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm
– Post-regatta reception and silent auction 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm

This fun fundraiser is your chance to get involved or boost company morale while helping a great cause. Revitalize your team with a day of sailing while helping us meet our goal of raising $60K to sponsor CBC’s inner-city youth outreach sailors for a safe, fun summer on the water!

Captain’s Club: $3,000

TICKETS: $50 advance purchase tickets for non-members ($60 at door)

PROCEEDS:
The Renaissance Regatta is CBC’s primary fund-raising initiative raising over $640,000 for our youth outreach programs since 1999.
