The hiking wings on the Raider 30 are removable to facilitate transport.
Southern Ocean Yacht Sales in Miami is importing the Raider 30, a high-performance sport cat, from Australia. The Tony Grainger design is bigger, but mildly reminiscent of the Stiletto catamarans, and it comes with Kevlar sails supported by a rotating aluminum wing mast. A modest interior includes a dinette, nav table, a molded galley, and bunks.
The daggerboards and external rudders are carbon-reinforced-fiberglass composite. The bowsprit and 340-sq. ft. screacher are extra. Hiking wings are removable.
