Thursday Night Races at Portland Yacht Club
I love the colors of sun set, so soft and pretty, forgiving, and often the wind is dying and it gives us a great reason to end the race sooner and go back to the club house and partake in adult beveragesl |

Still rocking' on
Blue Ribbon Regatta - round the lake long distance race, 14th - 16th July, 43rd Balatonfured, Hungary. The 145-kilometre race is the longest round-the-lake competition in Europe. A total of 588 sailboats participated in this year's race. We fighted a 10 hours long stormy weather during the night. This picture is taken in the next morning, when the waves are still big enough to slow us down and we need to head upwind. |
The rival - as seen from the lee side
Unitef Regatta, 2nd October yet surprisingly sunny race in light winds and warm air. Happy to be still on water on this brilliant day. Lake Balaton, Hungary. Boat type: Dixie32. |

Trapped for the weekend.
This sailboat had inadvertantly docked where the John Brown would be staying for the weekend in Fells Point - Baltimore, MD. The John Brown put out their starboard anchor to avoid crushing her. From the deck, you can almost reach out and touch the top of their mast. |
The Flag pole is bare
The colours have been struck at Hudson Yacht Club as we surrender to the coming winter season. Its been a another good year and we will cherish the thoughts as we hunker down for several chilly months. The months will pass quickly and before too long we will all be preparing for another sailing season on Lake of Two Mountains near Montreal Qc. |

Racing in the greatest harbor in the world.
After having a horrible start, I decided that I may as well hand the tiller to my crew, and I started shooting. |
I believe, I can fly
Who else to send up the mast, than the lightest of the crew. 22nd May 2011 at Lake Balaton, Hungary, after the Badacsony Regatta, fixing a jammed rope at the top. |
The Clever, the Unliker and the Top Model in action
Or we can say the Trimmer, the Skipper and the Tactician at Unitef Regatta, Lake Balaton, Hungary, 1st October 2011 on a Dixie32 boat in a light winds race, strong concentration. |
Who told you to get lazy when no wind? Check the rigging!
2011 May, Siofok, Hungary. Waiting for the wind before the regatta. Our sailcoach keeps us busy on our Yngling. :) |
