Oakcliff All-American Offshore Team

Spinnaker Poles Everywhere
In the Semi-Finals of the 2011 Chicago Match Cup, Keith Swinton used his leeward position to force a late jibe (and brief broach) by Phil Robertson. Swinton's maneuver cost him when he ran over the finish line marker and Robertson won. Swinton did however win the Cup.

2011-'12 Clipper Round the World Yacht Race
Ten amateur teams started in Southhampton, England, in July, and have raced to Madeira, Portugal; Rio de Janeiro; and Cape Town. Currently en route to Geraldton, Australia, they'll head to stopovers in New Zealand, Australia, Singapore, China, California, Panama, New York, Canada, Ireland, and the Netherlands before returning to England in July 2012.
