But for racers competing in the 2002 Sailing World NOOD at Marblehead Race Week there’ll be another image to add to that incongruous duo: that of a 26-foot hard-chined sailboat with an enormous mainsail and an interesting cast of characters piloting them around the course.

Today, at the second day of Race Week, race results proved this combo works.
