Expanded categories will feature the best new boats and products at the Newport International Boatshow
Independent judges from Cruising World, Sailing World, and MotorBoating magazines will be participating in the Newport for New Products Awards at the Newport International Boatshow (September 16-19). This awards program recognizes the best new boat (sail or power) and the best new product to be introduced at the show. Once again, due to the high volume of products that have entered in the past, the categories have been expanded. In addition to determining the overall winner of each of the main categories, judges will pick the best boat (power and sail) under 30 feet and 30 feet and above. The product category will also single out the best new product launches in everything from engines and navigation devices, to lighting and safety equipment. To be eligible, the boat or product must have been introduced between April and September prior to the show and make its official debut at Newport.
