Volvo Ocean Race at Fan Pier Boston

I'm back at it, after a much needed hiatus from Sailing World, have rejoined the folks of Premiere Racing assisting behind the scenes of the Volvo Ocean Race at Fan Pier...which opens to the public free-of-charge April 25th!!

The boats are due in Saturday night (4/25/2009) into Sunday (4/26/2009.)

The event has an interactive Facebook Fan Page for all the latest news and events schedule. One does not need to be a Facebook user to view contents. This is the only current source for event news at this time, will be posting live while boats arrive. Any changes to event schedule will be posted here as well.

It's pretty impressive how quickly an open parking lot becomes transformed into the most impressive Race Village I've ever experienced in the United States. Very exciting and hope folks have an opportunity to experience.
