Among the more than 500 submissions to Sailing World's Winter Photo Contest were stunning images of racing throughout the world, from the Great Lakes to the Florida Keys to Australia. The winning shot captures an intense moment during the 2010 Rolex Miami OCR: Lucy MacGregor's British team executes a snap jibe during a match against Anna Tunnicliffe's American squad. Although Tunnicliffe edged out MacGregor for the regatta victory, all was not totally lost, as Steve Lapkin, the photographer who snapped the shot, takes home the contest's grand prize, a pair of Puma foul-weather jackets courtesy of Ronstan.

The details-skipper throwing the main, middle crew trimming the chute, forward crew adjusting the twings-give you a great sense of the teamwork taking place.
