Sick Day: Heading home for day
Well, we never did catch that wind but had a great time trying. Art is getting ready to lower the mainsail while Amber gets ready to stow the gear. Bryan and I are firing up the engine. See you next weekend or whenever someone gives the word to "Call in Sick and Go Sailing"

Sick Day: Bryan, Drew and Art in the cockpit
Lake Tahoe has a healthy fleet of sailboat racers but we are too inexperienced to joint in, just yet. We have been long time residents of Reno, NV but this is our first year on the lake.

Sick Day: Tactician, Art keeping a weather eye on conditions.
While the lack of any strong winds didn't keep us from enjoying the day, our crew pushed on in search of that elusive wind that seemed to be just out of reach.

Sick Day: Bryan and Amber at the Helm
A perfect Wednesday morning on Lake Tahoe. A light breeze, out of the south was just right for introducing my daughter Amber to her first sail aboard "De Nada" our US Yacht 27. Bryan, my first mate and boyfriend to my younger daughter Katie is also new, this year to larger boat sailing.
