Wow, what a week! Light wind again today, like all week. We had a rough day yesterday, so first was pretty much out of the question, but there were six boats trailing very close behind us in the standings going into today.

Strangely, the Division 2 race committee had this thing where they refused to call a general recall, instead calling boats individually—sometimes half the bow numbers in the fleet. This policy really wreaked havoc in the Melges 32 fleet, almost every fleet. Our Melges 24 class was a little better behaved, but a lot of boats, including ours, were called over in today's first race. We ended up ninth in the race, so the battle for second place overall was on.

In the final two races, we had good starts and sailed well, ending with a 1-2 to secure second place overall, five points behind Blu Moon. They were fast in the light stuff and sailed very well all week.
